Cancelling Payments inside a sale.

To clear any payment screens and continue with the sale, touch the ‘Cancel Payments’ button at the bottom left of the screen.

  • If there are NO outstanding Integrated Debit/Credit authorizations, then ALL payment details entered will be cleared, including points redemptions.
  • Additional items can then be added to the sale, or another method of payment can be used.


If there are Integrated Debit or Credit Card Authorizations in the sale then:

  • Pressing Cancel Payments will  send a Void Payment operation to the PIN PAD.
  • The Customer then has to enter their card on the PIN Pad again in order to complete the Void Operation.
  • This can only be done immediatley after the Card has been approved.
  • If a second card is approved in a split payment operation then, only the last card can be voided, the opportunity to Void the first payment is lost.
  • This operation can only be cancelled at the PIN Pad.

When the return to Debit or (Void Credit) Card Payment is authorized, the sale can complete with another method of payment or be voided entirely.
