Cash Drawer Problems
The cash drawer
can be set to either:
- open ONLY with Cash Transactions for any cashier
or
- open for ALL tenders for any cashier.
This option is
set using the Back Office Employees -Cashier and Sales
Team Maintenance form.
The Epson POS Printer option must
be set ON for the Cash Drawer to work.
- If the cash drawer does not open with a Cash Transaction, make
sure that the Printer is turned on and the drawer is connected to the back
of the Printer.
- If you can hear the draw click when it should be opening it is
either locked or jammed.

- If there is no click, then make sure the printer is working and
all connections to the printer and cash drawer are good.
- The Lane will not work while it considers the cash drawer to be
Open.
- Call for technical support as required.
