Modifying a Price

Occasionally you will need to modify a price of a set priced item.
For instance, if a customer purchased an item on sale and it is no longer on sale, the price will have to be modified for the return.

• To modify the price of any item, touch the item on the cashier’s list and touch the ‘Discounts - Modify Price’ button.

• You will be prompted to type in the new price for the item.
• To allow any cashier to change the price of an item in the customer's favour , set the  'Allow Price Modification' flag ON in the cashier setup .
• If that flag is not set ON the cashier can only modify the price to a higher value.
• Use the touch Keypad to enter the new price and touch the ‘Enter’ key.

• You will see the new price added into the recalculated subtotal.
• Price modifications are tracked as a Price Level on reports (Level 99) .
