Cash
Payments
- Touch 'Cash' Payments option on the main sales screen to accept a payment.
- You will see a set of ‘Fast Tender’ keys with a fixed dollar
amount appear on the screen,
- To enter the amount of cash tendered for the payment, the
tendered amount can be also keyed into the touch number
pad.

Touch Enter to complete the entry.
- If a combination of Fast Tender keys is
touched then the amounts will add up. e.g. Touching $5.00 and $20.00
will accumulate to $25.00 tendered.
e.g. Keying in $5.25 on the Keypad and
touching $5.00 will add up the total tendered to $10.25
- If a single bill, or combination of bills, is used as a
payment, then the Fast Tender keys can be used to enter the payment
instead of the touch keypad.
- If exact change is offered then the ‘Exact Change’ button can
be touched instead.
- If the amount entered is more or equal to the value of the
sale, the ‘Close Sale’ button will highlight without the 'Enter Aount' button having to be touched..

- Touch the 'Close Sale' button to issue a
receipt and open the cash drawer.
- A receipt will print only if the receipt printing is
turned on.
- The option to turn receipt printing off/on is in the 'Print
Receipt' screen.
- A receipt can be re-printed through this screen at any
time.
Foreign Exchange
Touch the 'Other Pay - Exch Currency' option button.
- This will automatically give a list of active exchange rate buttons as set in the
Back Office Software. (Setup - POS Lanes - Foreign Currency)
- Select a Currency to see the Fast Cash Tender options.

- If only 1 rate is set on the system then no list will be shown,
the currency exchange rate will automatically be calculated and the Fast Tender options will shnow automatically.
-
The calculation is.... $Exch divided by the Buying (POS) Rate = $Cdn
tendered.

- The customer receipt will show the amount of Foreign Currency
exchanged.
- The value of the purchase in the foreign exchange will be
shown.
- If the Foreign Currency tendered is insufficient to cover the
sale, then the payment
can be split with other Payment Medias.
- In this way a sale payment can be split between Foreign
Currency and Canadian dollars.
- To clear an incorrect payment entry, touch the ‘Cancel Payments’ button at the bottom
of the cashier’s screen.
- Touching the ‘Close Sale’ button will open the cash drawer and
print a receipt on the POS Printer or attached system printer if
configured.
- If two Cash Drawers are attached to the POS Lane, the second
drawer can be dedicated to Foreign Exchange only.
- In that scenario, paying via a Foreign exchange, will open the second
cash drawer.
The cash drawer must be closed before the system will
allow the next purchase to start.
(This is NOT optional!)
